Matias' power short circuited Ergashev's, central nerves system, and that's why Ergashev couldn't feel his legs or punch effectively after Matias exploded on him.

No matter how well you box, Matias isn’t going to allow you to simply jab away. He will simply get closer, and closer, and closer, until he’s in range. When he settles into that range, and you can’t make him back up, you’re DOA.
