What you people don’t understand is that, Andrade has never fought a high rank great fighter! He was looking good on paper and selling himself good. Imagine one thing guys, Canelo is only 5’8” and will give Benavidez all he can handle! He might not beat David, but it would be a MEXICAN war! No running or peak a boo . Fken excuses!

Canelo will terminate him. Put your money on it...

The only thing that was coming was either a stoppage by the ref or KTFO. So according to you getting KTFO is going out in your shield. The ref stopped the Errol Spence fight, so he didn't go out in shield. The ref told the corner he was going to stop the fight regardless if it continue for Boo Boo fight.

Errol got stopped on his shield. Getting tko'd at times is going out on your shield. Sometimes referees may prematurely stop a fight causing controversy in this area. But Spence was willing to get knocked out cold....that willingness counts as going out on your shield

Andrade was not willing to get knocked out cold. There's nothing wrong with that as he was taking a lot of punishment....

But if you watch the talk in the corner. Andrade's team was like we're gonna stop the fight...and Andrade said, "stop it".

And side bar. Referees do too much meddling. There was no reason for the ref to call time out and call the ring doctor up to the apron the first time. And there was no reason to tell Andrade to show him something or he was going to stop the fight. I've seen fighters hurt way worse. As hurt as Andrade was, he kept fighting. Some fighters fight hurt a couple of rounds before they get it together. This referee, who I actually like somewhat, interfered too much for my tastes.

I think the corner saw the next round was not going to be any different. Just more punishment. The ref was going to stop it anyways.

Moving backwards does not equal 'more skilled'.

Benavidez was not just bigger than Andrade but also better and more skillful. His punches may not have been as flashy as Andrade's four and five punch combinations, but they were cleaner and more effective. His body work was most impressive to me. So many sneaky, short, hard body shots landed up close.

yea no southernly flow coming up from the South for a while around here, there may be a lot of promo guys blowing smoke up are azz's but that is the only hot air we are going to feel for a while. I hope you did not spend any money on that Showtime PPV clown show....... I would rather watch a fight card from Canada then see that garbage n line the pockets of those who already have got too much cash flowing thru there hands...............
