there are just some fighters in history that are naturally single weight class fighters and that if they go up/down a division, they would be way out of their depth. andrade is one of them.

Andrade never chased glory at 154 or 160 though. This is literally the first top guy he’s fought.

He was , is, no fraud. No question that at times in his career he was avoided like the plague due to his awkward style.

No, he is still a good fighter who can fight. He was just overmatched by a much better fighter that’s all.

Well Tim Bradley had a list of guys who avoided him in his prime but I can recall them so I'll stand down on that point. However we have to admit that he is past his prime and fought a guy two weight divisions above him last night. Tried grabbing the brass ring and failed.

Perhaps Canelo will now give him a Paaaay Daaaay as he is beatable now.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying top guys were itching to fight him either, but I think that was largely down to marketability, network politics etc. I don’t think they were ever scared of him because of his ability. I also think Andrade was very content to just fight these C level dudes, rather than seek out more challenging opposition, I always got the impression Andrade was looking for a cash out fight.
