These rehydration fighters are competing a weightclass lower because of the 24+ rehydration that they get away with. Cut the time in half and all those same fighters are risking their life in an insecure way. We fans are getting duped by this.
It is not 'weight bullying' it should be called 'rehydration fighers'

The flipside of drastically lower rehydration times is that we likely see more serious injuries in boxing. The positive is that we now don't have to look at fighters that otherwise would be unheard of based on there capacity.Comment

It's a sham. Nobody want's to really acknowledge this. There's a reason why he was able to walk through Boo Boo's punches. Boo Boo kept saying that it's not that he's more skilled, he's just bigger. And that's just the truth.
Benavidez is a good fighter, but he's teetering on the edge of being a hype job because the movement he moves up to fight a real killer like Artur Beterbiev (although he's older now) and a Bivol (who can punch and easily outbox him), he's going to be in for a rude awakening.
Bivol or Beterbiev will expose Benavidez. Everyone should remember this post. If he doesn't get Canelo, he'll move up to fight one of those guys, and then watch what happens.Comment

They said Ramirez was a heavyweight in the Bivol fight, lol.
If Bivol can beat 200 lbs guys than I guess he is N.1. p4p.Comment

The reason these fighters need 24+ hours is because they end up as vegetables otherwise.Comment

The reason why you have ever heard of Ramirez is that he is able to pull of a 24hr rehydration period. In a 12 hr re-hydration period he would end up as a vegetable on the highest level.Comment
