Yes lets compare the two's resumes:

    Pro Debut:
    Vitali----Beat 6-3 Tony Bradham
    Kingpin--Beat 1-10 Stanley Brisbone

    First 10 fights:
    Vitali--Combined record of 113-87-2 (55% wins)
    Kingpin--Combined record of 77-39-2 (65% wins)

    #15 Vitali Alben Belinski (5-0)
    #15 Kingpin Ron Guerrero (19-13-3)

    #20 Vitali Joselph Ribalta (39-14-1)
    #20 Kingpin Bruce Seldon (38-6)

Vitali did not win a major belt (WBO) until his 26th fight.............KINGPIN will win a belt in his 24th fight

PPL are gonna be surprised when KINGPIN steps up and beats Vitali...............I will say it again, KINGPIN by a score of 117-111 UD.......................WAR KINGPIN

Sure hope you aren't putting money on this, Mrs. Johnson.

In fairness, he is undefeated, has a good ranking and has looked real good as of late. His boxing ability is there behind his excellent jab. He also seems to have an additional gear when he wants to. See the Devin Vargas fight for proof. He even takes a good shot, but as you said, he doesn't have half of what it takes to beat Vitali.

Go look at the punch stats.
I agree, he outlanded Wlad in jabs, but you have to take into consideration who's jab was more effective and it helped a lot that he's a southpaw. Besides, the jab was practically all he threw.

Kevin Johnson has some excellent boxing skills. He is a worthy opponent for Vitali...

I'd much sooner see Vitali fight Johnson than fight some shot old fighter like Maskaev or Toney.

Yea, good luck on that for what it's worth. It's going to take a Buster Douglas moment to upend Vitali in Europe with not alot of punching power, I'm afraid.

this will be a repeat of the Gomez fight...some of you folks need to stop fooling yourselves. I, probably more than most, want to see both Vitali and Wladimir lose. I can't stand them. But i have accepted this one simple fact and you better too: It aint happenin. Best shot for either of them to lose it Wlad. There is NO ONE in the heavyweight division that will beat Vitali...period. I wish it wasnt so but it is. Prove me wrong, please. I will gladly thank you.

Kevin Johnson hasn't fought anybody worth a pulse. Sure he looked good beating tomato cans but how would he fare against somebody that can test him? His best win is against an Olympian and fighting Vargas to the WBC champion is a big step up in class.
