Klitschko vs Johnson Deal is Reportedly Reached

BoxingScene.com was advised by source close to the negotiations that a deal is in place for Vitali Klitschko (38-2, 37KOs) to defend his WBC heavyweight title against undefeated Kevin Johnson (22-0-1, 9KOs) on tentative date of December 12. A venue in Switzerland is in the running to host the event but other locations are also being considered. [details]

I'm giving vitali credit.4 fights in 13 months against top competition.peter, gomez, arreola & now Johnson.that's what a REAL champion does...I can't believe that's coming from my klitschko hating mouth but it's reality & I think he deserves credit.no easy fights & he's finally given up on lewis' & is carving out his own legacy.kudos to vitali! This hurts me to say this!

The only reason Vitali is taking a fight this early after his last one is because his fight with Arreola was nothing more than a sparring session.

Wait till you see this next one. Arreola is 100x better than Johnson.

It's good that he's fighting more often. This man doesn't have many knockouts so it should be easy for Vitali.
