Jermall is a real jerk, and he may have come in overweight thinking that it'll give him an advantage in strength.

What, in both the leadup to the Jermell vs Canelo and Jermall vs Jose Benavidez there is no mention of "lions only"? What gives? I thought these two were marketing themselves as the kings of the jungle or some such thing.

He had absolutely no interest at the press conference, shows up at the weigh-in, looking like a run-away convict, misses weight and adds weight instead of dropping. I'm going a limb and to say, he will miss the extra 10 lbs he is allotted for tomorrow. His head isn't in the right space.

To be fair, Jose too was a jnr WW for maybe even longer than Garcia. Though I'm not much of a fan of Garcia, I can't recall him ever being really hurt against anyone. Hell I like Mall but this missing weight **** ain't cool at all. I gotta go for Jose off technicality.

There's no excuse for not training properly and blowing weight. I don't know if it's hubris and arrogance or his mental state that caused him not to train. Ronnie Shields is slipping if this story is true. A trainer should not accept that non effort from one of his fighters.

He knows what he is doing. 166 is still a super middleweight limit. next in the line for Canelo.

Completely unprofessional, I hope he's had to pay Benevidez a substantial sum from his purse.

Even better, although unlikely, would be that he gets his azz handed to him tonight as well .
