Anthony Joshua has never been more confident that his best years are ahead. The claim will likely be met with a collective eye roll but the former two-time unified heavyweight titlist is brimming with confidence in what has become his most active ring campaign in seven years. Watford's Joshua is set for his third fight of 2023, which will come versus Sweden's Otto Wallin on December 23 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Sounds like he's heading to his Mum's for Sunday dinner rather than chasing a world championship.

I think AJ is a frontrunner. No doubt if he gets someone in position...he knows how to finish. Its when he gets behind...he starts to panic and lose focus and as we know...has no backup plan. Hopefully Wallin sees that and goes at him right from the start...because good fighter or not...AJ is just one of those people i just cant seem to get behind.

So Wallin is not a live opponent? Even though Wallin would be a live opponent for 99.9% of the Heavyweights in the sport 'Your boy Fury was pushed and busted up real good by Wallin over 12 rounds'.

You must secretly rate Joshua very highly Thack, even this well 'Petrified, has been Joshua as YOU would say'.

This is professional boxing mate, you know how the game works 'Match making and career guidance'.

If Joshua beats Wallin, then he should fight Hrgovic for the potential IBF vacate Heavyweight World title 'Those are live fights mate, for any Heavyweight'.

Note: But I do get it Thack, I know your game. You want Joshua to fight ether Fury's potential contenders for him, or Wilder 'But I honestly think Fury's hardcore fans need to be careful regarding the Wilder fight. Most of Tyson Fury's current reputation, is built up off beating Deontay Wilder.

If fighters like Parker or Joshua start ****ing out Wilder 'Then this does not really boded well for Fury's overall reputation. The reason why I specifically state reputation is because, regardless of how Wilder careers progresses 'Fury's wins over Wilder, are still mega wins. A win must be valued in the context of the time, when Fury fought Wilder he was unbeaten and the WBC World Heavyweight Champion'

I rate Wilder as a satisfactory World Champion within this era, Wilder gave it a good go 'And fought until there was no more, to win back his World Title'.

Me personally, as I have been saying for sometime 'The competition between the top 4 fighters, is all about the long game to see who is going to be the last man standing'.

Joshua is producing some fighting talk here 'None of this is a bad thing'.

I don’t even include his fight with Fury because he lost but I do like what i saw against Kauffman & Beeazeale. I have to watch the Gassiev fight still. Breaz & Gassiev are good wins. He is the IBF #2 & Joshua is #3. Winner is likely fighting Hrgovic for the vacant title. This is a big fight for both. Wallin is getting a career payday & if he wins Joshua will activate his rematch clause & Wallin gets another big payday rather he wins the rematch or not. No matter what happens against Joshua he just lined his pockets & there is huge incentive for more. This is Wallin’s best & possibly his only chance of moving up to the next level. For Joshua a loss would be tough but he could still get Wilder & Fury.
