That seems a popular move after a big L so I tend to think thats a possibility here esp with how James is talking. Generally the trainer helps sell the next fight by suggesting various reasons for an L besides his guy was 2nd best that night so the vibe here seems like maybe there is writing on the wall he sees that we haven't seen yet.

It's wild how in 3 weeks times we saw an imposter Spence, an imposter Fulton and an imposter Charlo.

Derrick says at 154 we'll see, Spence won't be drained or depleted. In the next breath, he says that weight wasn't the issue, that the issue was that Bud was better that night, and that his game plan and his coach was better. Errol's problem is Henny w/apple juice

Either he was drained or he wasn’t. James seems angry, and as we saw with Wilder and Joshua, usually precedes a trainer change. Which we think is a bad idea.
Thats the bit I didn't understand, he contradicts what he is saying, said he wasn't then says at 154 he wont be drained and depleted.

I just don't want to see either Crawford or damaged Spence fight Cinnastix.

Either do I. I was just pointing out that Bivol says he'd fight Canelo at 168 and got turned down,

I still think Spence should leave Derrick.

No shade towards Derrick but my rule of thumb is, whenever a corner has absolutely nothing of value to say to their fighter who is clearly losing? They need to change coaches.

Spence will probably rock it out with Derrick and hell maybe they even win the rematch or continue winning at 154 in the future.

But can't help but think maybe Spence needs someone new to build beyond what Derrick started. Maybe Derrick can't see beyond that limit and a new pair of eyes like Calvin Ford could get that extra 1-2% needed.
