Spence is a fine fighter, world class, and been a champion. Crawford is just a better boxer, that's it.

There's no shame in that at all. If I can think of a recent example, Wilder fought Fury three times, had some success, but Fury has his number.

Sounds like he's saying Spence won't be as drained at 154, but he doesn't want to make excuses and take away from Crawford's win.

Forget 154 lbs. No need since Spence wasn't drained. Let's get this fiasco over so Bud can start working on whatever fights he has left in him.

This rematch will not be a big money fight. That ship has sailed. It would be best for Crawford to mandate the fight at 147 lbs. in the hopes that Spence backs out so Bud can concentrate on other fights that will bring in more revenue and get him closer to being a four division champ.

100% true. He does not sound happy at all. Spence is a decent fighter but that beating has altered him 100%.
As Breadman puts it, Guys will no longer fear him. The Tszyu fight in Australia can net Spence close to $5 million. And it’s a fight he can win.

Canelo has already stated he will no be dropping down in weight for anybody. If they want to fight Canelo, it has to be at 168.

Weird James is saying that. You'd think he'd wanna imply or suggest SOMETHING was the problem to help sell the rematch regardless of what he believes.

This might be an attempt by him to get Errol to opt out of the rematch by saying Bud is simply better & not a lot changes by adding 7lbs. Or Errol has switched trainers & James is just saying whatever now cuz he's not part of the team or something.

Disagree. Names sell. Good fights don't necessarily sell if they don't have names attached. Hardcore fans try to pretend things work like they want them to work or how they probably should work not like they are. It'd be great if good fights sold more than names, but its not the case. The casual fans have too much power with promoters/power brokers of the sport. Thats why novelty fights are getting so much attention these days. There is more money in names than good fights.

Both these guys will get 8 digits again or absolute worse case high 7 digits. And outside of the biggest name in the game Bud isn't making more money from any other fight & idk if Errol is making bigger money anywhere.

There you go. Even the very people inside knew nothing about the rematch.

Here's the original video. He's just trying to not to discredit the win.
