There was clearly something wrong with him against De Los Santos. It was fairly boring, but I've been highly entertained by all his other fights. I actually enjoy watching someone apply their craft and seriously outbox top fighters. If all you care about is KOs, then yeah, I guess it's boring. If you care about watching someone apply their skills, Shakur is extremely fun to watch.

How many lackluster fights has Hopkins been involved in? The clinching, holding, roughhouse tactics etc? He’s an ATG.
Did anyone know who Hopkins was when he was 26? Not a soul.

Shakur has acknowledged it was a terrible fight. There’s plenty more fights to come

I like Shakur's style, but I don't think he's really ever been known for being entertaining. Definitely a lot like Rigo.

Crowds start booing if you only throw jabs for a whole fight. Who knew.

I guess this guy spoke the truth about Shakur.

Imagine if Shakur was going up against Tank Davis. He would be 20x more gun shy than he did against Edwin De Los Santos.

                  When was Shakur entertaining?

I think a lot of ppl think he's talented with a massive ring IQ. I think he's probably the most unbeatable guy around right now, but he's never been the 2nd coming of Arturo or Diego or some sh^t like that. Nothing changed from before I think ppl just thought HE had more confidence in his talent now than he had when he fought Nakathila & fought very similar & safety first. So he's getting sh^t on for giving us a Nakathila II kind of effort.

You've been boring a hell of a lot more than you've been entertaining

The Valdez and Herring fights were the anomaly, not this one.
