i don't think bud is excited for the rematch unless he's gonna get paid really well.

It's ******.

It also begs to question if Spence can win the rematch, does it mean every other fighter that ever got dominated and lost could have had a rematch and won? I rather say no and that the better man won and it's a closed book. Let's move on.
If Mayweather - Pacquiao could be made without a rematch clause, any fight can be.

My guess is it'll happen next fight. It's contractually secure already, all on paper. Might be the only chance Spence gets to fight Bud again so why would he throw out the contract? I wonder if it'll be on the undercard of one of the Saudi heavyweight shows next year. Was so one-sided it doesn't quite warrant being a main event but in Saudi they'll still get paid well even as co-main. And Crawford's a star in the boxing world now so I'm sure Saudi's want to see him fight there.

Errol Spence is damaged goods and is in danger of serious harm if he continues to fight. Prime Spence died in the car wreck, it is what it is. Sick how the same people encouraging him to carry on fighting will be the same ones crying in a couple of years when he is in a vegetative state.

The first fight barely made it

Next time there will be no Showtime anymore, no Espinoza to serve as the middle guy. So one can't help but wonder who or which promoter would step up and work on the rematch.

Crawford vs Tim in Australia if he is game. And I'm sure they got more than 10 million Charlo money for him. Mega stadium fight and I'm Crawford can bring over American judges to eliminate any funny business.

Tired of hearing the Ennis nonsense. Hell with him and his dad. Ortiz Jr will be waiting for them at 154

Ennis is a big welterweight. He's not getting any younger, so he'll move up eventually. And to me, 154 is the more active division currently and they'll never run out fights to make. The welterweight is dormant. The activity is abysmal.

During one of the Bud vs Spence pressers, Espinoza said that if both fighters are determined to fight each other, then there's no stopping it from happening. It was only after Bud and Spence spoke personally on the phone, then the fight got made. So it seems more likely that Espinoza and Haymon prevented that fight from happening for years, they didn't play any part in facilitating it.

Point is it won't be seen as big as the first fight. The motivation for promoters and broadcasters is cut in half or less.
