It’s not a cheap fight to put on too. Both guys will want 8 figures.

That's exactly what's going on. Both of them don't give a hoot whether it happens or not. Spence is supposed to be the one pushing for it, yet he's not been seen anywhere on social media. Crawford, OTOH, is so comfortable going out there answering questions because in the back of his mind the rematch is still up there and is in no obligation to answer any question about other fights. It's working for him.

No one wants to touch the rematch topic. Not the media, not the youtube clickbaiters. All they want to focus on are fantasy matchups. Put the cart ahead of the horse.

Crawford knew it's not going to happen. He most likely went over this in his head a thousand times and thought to himself, "Which crazy investor is going to put his money on this nonsensical fight?"

AND that is why I hate boxing nowadays where rematch clauses are put into every big fight. Nobody can just win and move on. I can see a rematch being necessary or even show some interest if the fight was competitive/somewhat competitive, but man, how much more one sided of a fight did we need to watch and still ask for a rematch? It's ******.

It also begs to question if Spence can win the rematch, does it mean every other fighter that ever got dominated and lost could have had a rematch and won? I rather say no and that the better man won and it's a closed book. Let's move on.

It's not happening. It's working for both. For one, it's giving Crawford sense of serenity and peace he doesn't have to answer any question about other fights. But he knew it ain't happening.

Let's hope they'll eventually make an official announcement the rematch is not happening.

They are just trying to enjoy life, rehab and will do it, when THEY are ready.

54 or 47- Bud has Spence’s number and last pay day waiting when Jr is ready

Doubtful. I don't think Spence's team wants it. With Showtime exiting, who will handle the PPV? Where's the guaranteed money coming in from?
