He didn't TKO him, the ref or the doctor stopped the fight. Vitali would continue fighting but wasn't allowed. There is a difference between being stopped by a fighter and not being allowed to continue.

Remember Lewis allways faught contenders that were over the top, drug addicted or out of shape. Lewis was great but he was lucky about the timing for meeting hes opponents. Holyfield, Tyson, Morrison, Bruno, Tucker, McCall( rematch) , Biggs etc...

But in Klitschko he finally met a big man who actually was in shape and a top contender.

ye Lewis was a few yours past his prime in that fight and was his biggest weight I believe. undermotivated and undertrained. He grinded out the win but it still upsets me that he didnt have a rematch with vitali cos if he did im sure we wouldnt be having this debate.
