Here we go, narrative dossers in the house.
Yes dazn offered Wilder that deal & dazn admitted they got the offer wrong. That though was a full year after Wilder offered Aj 50mill flat fee (after wilder accepted a 14mill flat fee they back tracked on) to save undesputed in 2018 & in a Johnny Nelson interview on Sky tv Aj said "i won't be rushed into the Wilder fight "when asked when he said"19 20 21"Hearn then said 2020.
The 2019 deal wasn't a direct fight with Aj, it was a dazn contract. Eddie also said" maybe Wilder will loose by then"
It's all recorded on video, i don't like either of them or Fury any more but at least Fury & Wilder had the stones to have the greatest trilogy since Bowe Holyfield in the 90s. Remove all the shot past it 38-41 year olds and who's Aj beat?
So I'm presuming this is a new £50mill offer & Aj turned it down again on top of ducking Fury last year demanding commercial control and A-side status. Quack Quack, Miller got Aj spot on.
If you read my post properly, you would have seen that I said it was a three- fight deal. Wilder cited loyalty to Haymon & PBC, & Hearn not divulging AJ's cut, like that was any of his business. He didn't take the deal, but rather fought Fury, who had been away for three years, drinking, drugging & eating himself into a downward spiral. But that backfired on Deontay, didn't it?
You're not seriously giving any credibility to career drug- cheat Jarrell Miller, are you?
If you are referring to the deal that would have required him to sign with dazn, I remember the contention being that he wasn’t actually offered Joshua in a guarantee in writing and in fact Joshua was stopped in his next fight. And in fact, dazn apologised to wilder for the contract they offered .wilder would have fought three fights and never would have gotten Joshua. But hey, let’s not let truth get in the way of good old fashioned propaganda
Come on now, I don't believe that and neither do you. Wilder has said himself that he turned down more money to fight Joshua, in favor of fighting Fury. He also said he was loyal to Haymon & PBC. He didn't take the deal because he wasn't confident that he could beat Whyte, whom he would have had to fight before he fought AJ. Instead, he said things like Whyte wasn't worthy of fighting him. Among many other things that Mr. Wilder has said, he also mentioned that he was ordained to become the undisputed HW champion of the world. Now how was he going to do that, if he wouldn't even make a fight with the then unified champ, on his terms?
Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is claiming that Anthony Joshua rejected an offer of a $50 million to fight him. Wilder and Joshua will appear in separate fights as part of a big event taking place on December 23 in Saudi Arabia.

For those saying the number isn’t real: there was an interview with Joshua years ago where he was asked about it, and Joshua by his reaction seemed to be hearing it for the first time but positive (“whew…that’s a LOT of money!”)
Chances are, Joshua’s management team rejected it without involving Joshua in a effort to protect him.
For the record, neither has Anthony Joshua in the last 3 years. The last time Wilder and Joshua fought the #1 and #2 ranked guys, they both lost and haven't beaten a top-10 guy since.
Regarding their past, I don't think either side was that enthusiastic about fighting each other except on their terms. Wilder's side offered AJ a $50m which Joshua rejected. People here are trying to deny that offer was legit but Joshua himself accepted that he was offered but that "all things considered", it wasn't that lucrative. I believe those things involved his contracts, sponsorships, taxes, etc. Wilder as offered a contract by Eddie but it was only for Whyte will Joshua being a possibility, not a certainty. The DAZN offer also had some loopholes that they later accepted was not entirely transparent and no confidence building was done beforehand. AJ lost his next fight so a DAZN contract wouldn't have had Wilder-Joshua but he may have had to wait till a Joshua-Ruiz rematch first. Other than that, they never agreed upon a split to make a direct fight.
Right now too, it was only a Saudi offer that could have potentially landed this fight because if it is up to them, they are not moving forward. Eddie fancies an easier route to take AJ with Otto and Hrgovic and not Wilder. Either fighter having a loss sets them back a year at least. Only a Saudi payday can offset that risk.
Joshua talks rubbish all the time. He always tries to smooth things over so that fights can happen in future. Did the same with Fury after Fury ran from their Twitter fight. Even Usyk had to do that afer the Twitter offer to try to get the Fury fight in future. What I said came direct from Hearn who would be dealing with the business side. Why would Wilder offer Joshua $50 million to fight him and then spend 2 years even avoiding Dillian Whyte. I like you the way you believe in magic. He may not be the best boxer but Joshua has never ducked a fight his whole career. He fights the most top-10 guys and he is 5 years behind Wilder and Fury in his career.
Pulev was no. 7 in The Ring ranking when Joshua beat him so not quite true about 3 years. Joshua has been ambitious while Wilder has been inactive and risk-averse. Even Fury was an "easy pick" - big name coming back from 2 years out. Wilder himself says Joshua offered him more money than Fury to fight. So we are meant to believe that when he didn't need to pay $50 million dollars - he then suddenly didn't want the fight? He only wanted the fight if he could pay Joshua $50 million? Even you must know he said that for gullible fans to believe...

Ok so even dazn isn’t to be believed because it interferes with matchroom propaganda. Hey no problem amigo….we’ll just wink and run with that
Not trying to pick sides, but when Hearn asked to meet to put the agreement in a contract, for the 50m offer, Finkel denied it because the fight was obviosly not viable and it would be a waste of time.
Prior to that Wilder agreed to a 2 fight deal and 15m payday per fight only to receive the contract without a rematch in his favor inserted.
Then there was the 100m offer to Wilder, which he himself admited was a mistake not to take.
We can see both sides complicated matters, but now it is time to put it together. No more excuses.
They should be having their trilogy instead of the first fight.
