There are many MMA fighters that can box. After all it's MIXED martial arts and boxing is definitely a martial art. MMA fighter Edson Berto is the brother of Andre Berto. Frankie Edgar is probably the best boxer in the UFC at the moment but there are many mma fighters that can box. It's just the assclowns like to focus on mma fighters who's primary backgrounds came from judo or jiu-jitsu and compare apples to oranges.

I still wouldn't say that Edgar can necessarily "box". Being a striker in MMA is entirely different, even if you only use your hands.

Well that's exactly happened to baby Fedor. He thought he was good with his hands because he'd been fighting fighters with inferior boxing skills and got a wake up call. But he'd be able to beat that guy in an MMA match no problem.

You should check out Edgar's fight with Sean Sherk. Best boxing display i'd ever seen in the UFC. Only time I'd ever seen 5-6 punch combinations combined with decent lateral movement in an mma match.
