Usyk vs Fury Strength Comparison Using Face To Face Scuffle Video

    * Tip: Reduce the speed to 0.5x in video settings for easier viewing.

4 sec: Fury plants his forehead against Usyk's forehead and forces his bodyweight down on him. It drives Usyk back for a moment.

12 to 15 sec: Usyk readjusts and now starts driving Fury backwards using his own forehead and body force. Fury starts backpeddling even while the security guard has an arm around Usyk to restrict his motion.

16 sec: Fury now resorts to pushing Usyk back with his hands before the guards finally separate them.

Did Usyk get the upperhand in that scuffle by the end?

I don't know but I already thought it was unlikely Fury would win by stoppage. If he's going to do it it probably has to be on points. Has he got a performance like that left in him?

Fury is the stronger man, quite clearly. He could rag roll Usyk if it was just grappling up close.

Usyk couldn't keep Chisora off him for 5 rounds because he was too strong. Fury never had any issue with Chisoras physicality and threw him around if he ever wanted to.

But Usyk is a good boxer and found his way to a 115-113 victory over a faded chisora once he could evade the physicality Chisora put on him.

Arguably the only person Fury has never really been to dominate close up is Ngannou, but he's very strong and obviously has experience grappling etc.

Usyk would have no chance grappling or trying to out strength Fury up close, he will get manhandled like a child if Fury got his hands on him and arms around him. Usyk lost 5 rounds to Chisora simply because the physicality was a big problem and Chisora like Fury knows how to use it.

The problem for Usyk is Fury knows how to use his size and is way better and bigger than Chisora.

Styles make fights. If you're struggling with the physicality of a faded Chisora and winning 7-5, good luck beating Fury. Usyk is lucky AJ has nothing in his skill set to use size advantage and is just a mid range boxer with no history of knowing how to "big man" opponents, i.e tailor made for Usyk.

Fury is going to wreck him. Usyk will be getting pinned on the ropes and his weak glass body will get punished.

This will be one of Fury's easiest fights and you will all be underwhelmed when it's over.

But that was the Usyk that was just testing the waters in heavyweight. He has gotten better in handling big guys, except that Dubois punch.

Hes never had to again since Chisora.

AJ and Dubois are mid distance fighters. Never once in their career have they used size and leaned on opponents, wrap them up, strong arm them, use framing etc... It appears they don't have the tools in their skill set to do that.

Those guys will basically fence with you flat footed and look to land a perfect shot. Usyk will beat guys like that all day, which is why I picked Usyk to beat AJ rather easily before their first fight, its written on this forum.

people need to understand fighters have certain tools and lack others, hence why styles make fights.

Fury is an absolute nightmare for Usyk. Save this thread and come back 3 rounds into the fight and you'll see I was right.

"testing the waters" - he won by a round v Chisora. His own promoter had it a draw. He struggled because he couldn't handle someome who KNOWS how to use size and physicality. But this is the first time he's gonna have that again, except someone way better than Chisora.
