Shakur had a string of good performances and they will remember him for his last one. Clash of styles and two counterpunchers never look good in the ring.

He said a lot about doing a great performance and we got a snoozer.

The "fans" can complain about how non-entertaining it was, but if he woulda lost, the criticism woulda been worse for losing. Win the title now, look good later. In the end the W is all that matters.
I (we) certainly can knock him. NO ONE is paying to see that trash. They should withhold his purse for not living up to his contract to FIGHT. Rarely have I witnessed such a poor, uninspired performance. Boxing is entertainment first and foremost. Shakur's performance was not worth a damned cent.

He underperformed more due to the level and style of his opponent and still won handily. At the end of the day, an ugly, boring win is better than an entertaining loss. In boxing, a win is a step forward. A loss is 5 steps back. Gotta take the win any way you can.

Nothing against you, but your argument doesn't hold water. One more performance like that and Shakur will slide into oblivion. Anyone remember Howard Davis? No? There's a reason that you don't. He was a talented, BORING as fighter.

You're right! Shakur finally fights somebody that brought a real challenge now all of a sudden he didn't feel well. No, he saw a fighter as fast if not faster that definitely punched harder and he didn't want to engage him!!!! All that damn talk leading up now you have a tummy ache. GTFOHWTBS!!!!!!!!

Eh, Shakur was in the ring, but he wasn't a fighter last night. If he's afraid of getting hit, he's in the wrong sport. It's much safer outside of the ring than inside. And if that's how he's going to fight, he belongs outside.

He seemed more willing to engage in his last couple of fights, but he reverted to his beginning style, which is avoid getting hit at ALL cost. I understand the "sweet science" but this was FAR from it. He wasn't avoiding punches, he was refusing to fight. BIG difference between what Hector Camacho did and what Shakur did.

If he was a no talented bum in some small town, oh well. He's proclaiming himself to be the BEST in the WORLD. So much so that he says people are avoiding him. Well they certainly aren't afraid of being hurt by him, that's for sure.
