Cuz Valdez is half his size.

You made it that far into the fight? What in the first nine rounds kept you awake? A triple Latte? : > )

        • Too much running, neither one can reach to punch the other. Too much holding, neither one can punch. Not boxing.

          • I wrote that I didn't expected Shakur to fight in the pocket against De Los Santos like he did in his previous fights but run like that the whole fight, was something that I didn't foresaw. The fight should be called a draw of award the victory to the more willing to engage and active fighter.

At one point, they showed compubox of Shakur landing 11 punches but the guy didn't even throw that amount of punches, let alone connect them. But you know, if Shakur loses, all those big money fights would vanish with him.

But I tell you this, the big winner was De Los Santos because 1. the exposition he got and 2. because he almost beat Shakur if not because Shakur ran for dear life.

I’m not watching that dude anymore because it’s just gonna piss me off that I’m attributing to it by doing so. Phuck that he can take other people’s money and attention and cause them anger. I ain’t got the time for that bs

So one lackluster fight against a good boxer makes Shakur boring?
Do you also think Floyd’s 50 fights were boring?

I never said I’m defending that performance. Simple question, Shakur is 21-0
Were the last 20 fights boring or bad? Pretty simple question

                • Fights such as this are the reason why I favor the idea of making smaller rings standard. Like the ones they use in Mexico.

I have a feeling that Demetrius Andrade is going to try to use a similar strategy as Shakur against Benavidez.

                  • Man, some of these guys know how to throw away a good opportunity to showcase themselves. Shakur literally had the entire night to himself on a Thursday. I even made the mistake of giving a buddy a heads up that this was going to be on. I sure hope he didn't tune in. Why the hell would you put on a snoozer performance when it's a great chance with a lot of eyes focused only on your show, to tune in and be impressed? To help build a better following? Perhaps that was too much to ask for.
