I like Shakur but as I get ready to start work in 8 minutes , I'm pissed I stayed up for this ........He had put on some great performances right before this fight too that I thought had turned the corner on the boring style he has been rightfully criticized for .All went to sheeit with that performance ..

See that's the problem he's not the best talent of anything unless you count at avoiding a prize fighting remember ppl pay to watch prize fights not a guy run prance around the ring for 12 rds.

Talent is being able to fight stand in front of a fighter counter go to the body then head, dig down if need be that's boxing talent.

Anyone can get in the ring ans literally avoid a fight just run hug clinch run hug clinch. Fuxk that there's no talent in that BS don't let the biased media influence you.

Shakur does all of that lol. Not last night obviously, but in the Valdez fight he stood in the pocket and exchanged. He deft has that in his arsenal. When and how he uses it is the frustrating part.

The worst snooze fest I’ve ever seen in boxing. It was late and after the 2nd round, I could see that this fight was going nowhere and I recorded it. I watched it this morning and it’s the only fight that I fast forwarded the entire time. It was that boring and quite funny watching at double speed as each guy chased each other around the ring doing nothing. The fans deserve a refund and I’m all for a rematch but it must be held in a phone booth. They might be able to land some punches in a much smaller space. Really pathetic.

This makes a-lot of sense, I figured it had to do with anger or something along those lines. I don’t think you’ll find angrier sports fans than the ones in the U.S.. be it boxing, hockey or football. heck, even some college sports fans are lunatics. It’s like writing and spreading as much negativity over a forum about a fighter gives them a sense of joy that they may not be able to find in *real life*.
Most the time I just laugh at personal insults on here.

Conversely, when one "their guys" wins, they act like they personally achieved something. When all they actually did was passively sit in front of a screen.

Loved the camera angle at the end of round 10. Looked like bit of snooze-fest until that really captured the technical prowess of Shakur.

Shakur was disappointing. Fought off the back foot for most of the fight against a guy who's hometown arena is a high school gym.

I fell asleep watching that fight. Two counter punchers made it a boring affair. De Los Santos was at least trying to make a fight at times. Now Shakur might get a call from someone or fight Navarrete that looked very ordinary in his fight.
