The youngest, most talented of Fernando Vargas' three fighting sons scored another impressive knockout Thursday afternoon. Emiliano Vargas dropped Brandon Mendoza twice, once in the first round and again in the second round, on his way to a second-round knockout on the Shakur Stevenson-Edwin De Los Santos undercard at T-Mobile Arena. Referee Harvey Dock halted their scheduled six-round lightweight bout as soon as Mendoza hit the canvas for the second time.

Yes he is the most talented son,
you can tell by the way he carries himself with confidence. He’s not as ****y as his brothers who seems to be lacking.

This right here. Confidence and arrogance seem to get mixed up alot. All of them are talented, but he is levels above his brothers and seems to carry himself differently than they seem to do. Hafta see him face some adversity against tougher competition, but barring that, he looks like a sure-fire future world champion even at his tender age.

Definitely the best of the Vargas squad , Emiliano seems to me like he's got a tremendous future in boxing. We won't know until he's in the ring with someone who can ask the hard questions of him , but I suspect that he'd pass the test. He's got a lot of maturity and ring IQ ,and handles himself well outside of the ring. It's hard to believe that he's just 19. This young man so far is impressive.
