The more time goes on, Shakur's shortsightedness of not taking the 25% offer that was made when Haney got undisputed is going to start stinging more. The fact that he's likely getting much less against De Los Santos makes it further ironic. He could've, and should've been fighting/fought Haney around now for his undisputed belts, instead of fighting De Los Santos for one vacated belt. Then he'd be getting more money calling out for Loma next year for undisputed defense.

People are seeing that. he is still a name and he is ripe for the picking. People would love to have Loma on their resume especially since they know they can beat him easy.
I agree about Teo. I disagree about Haney. Haney has always had speed. Loma looked slow moreso because he was in was in with a faster and more athletic boxer than because he slowed down.

I think Tank can fairly be accused of waiting for Loma to decline. Shakur has been calling him out for some time.

Bob is doing same for Loma that he did with Valdez- give them a payday before the Shakur fight because its likely a loss.

Was that for the WBC title or was that the fight Yoshino took to become the number contender for the WBC title?

Shakur , Zepeda , Navarette , and Lomachenko , in a round robin tournament would be sweet. That's why it would probably never happen.

Shakur and Loma should be happening right now instead of Edwin De Los Santos. Loma clearly beat Haney. Bill Haney paying off fighters and judges to keep his sons record loss free is a travesty to the sport. Haney is a joke. Loma already exposed him.

But the point is that Shakur and Loma should be fighting for undisputed. That's the reality of the situation. Loma knows it. Shakur knows it. Everyone knows it. **** boxing.

Loma imo lost because Teo and Haney are bigger LW with speed. Ortiz gave him fits for the same reason. Loma was way too fast for Nakatani or Commey, negating the size advantage.

A lot of posters ( not me) and boxers, including Shakur, felt he beat Haney. That is also why Shakur called him out.

Let’s not create a false narrative that Shakur is coming for Loma because he is old or slowing down.

If Loma chooses to fight Kambosos to get an easy payday, that surely is a duck and should be labeled as such.
I dont know of course, but dont be so sure that Loma is fighting again. Who will he want to match up against? He only ever wanted belts, but went easy at the end of his last opp to take them home.

So now will he fight somebody for no belt and try to work his way back? He was right there and choked twice at this size. Im not saying he wont get back in the ring and start over but im not sure why he would at this point.

ESPN, in the article I posted, says Kambosos is next for Loma. Makes sense since he needs to look good in a win to make fans think he had a chance in the Shakur fight.
