Is boxing ever going to get back to NETWORK TV??

If the sports wants more popular well obviously it has to get back to network tv.

In order to compete with other GLOBAL SPORTS it must get back to free to air ****!!!

Notice how i said GLOBAL, cause i know some people will just ty and compare to baseball/basketball/american football. They ARE NOT GLOBAL SPORTS!!!

Football (REAL FOOTBALL ie soccer), Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Rugby all them ones are global so in order to compete it's gota get to free to air television or at the very least fkin cut out PPV CRAP!!!!!!!

There is a lot of free fights on ESPN and Telefutura among others.. I don't know what you're talking about.. Boxing lost popularity because the Heavyweight division is dead.. It needs another Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Muhammed Ali type fighters. The lower weight divisions can't do it all by themselves..

Boxing goes where the money is, sadly that's PPV at the moment.

All the good athletes are going to higher paid "safer" sports like football and Basketball. A few decades ago those same athletes would've been going into boxing. Some of those athletes could have been the next Tyson, Ali, Foreman, Frazier, SRR, Lewis, Holyfield and the like. So the stable for good charismatic fighters has shortened considerably.

i doubt it. the networks see way too much money in the nfl/nba/mlb/etc. Heck, they'd rather cover golf than boxing. There's just too much money in those other sports.

Richard Schaefer said he would have Boxing on Network TV within a year, I believe he's the guy to do it because he knows how to line up those sponsors.
