Yeah, it takes a few years after your pro debut to begin to make a mark — even if you have loads of amateur success. Robeisy is at that point, and he’s already 29. Everyone is different, but how many good years could he have left? Five or so?Comment

Robeisy you are still my leading candidate for the featherweight matchup I am looking forward to the most in 2025. Just continue to build you name and resume and keep the belt (possibly a second as well), and be the guy who Inoue fights. You are promoted by the right company (ie the one that Inoue can easily fight), and have the mindset willing to take that purse--err, I mean fight, and most of all, a fight style that will make a very interesting and exciting matchup with Inoue.Comment

Five, sounds about right if he doesn't drown in alcohol like Casamayor.Last edited by garfios; 11-18-2023, 06:45 PM.Comment

Yeah, there’s always that. I heard that Ramirez was headed down that road, which at least partially accounted for his debut loss. But it looks like it served as a real wake-up call. From all appearances, the kid seems focused. I wish our guys fought more often. It’s tiresome waiting for their next fights.Comment

Yeap, they don't fight as often as they should. Morrell Jr should had fought a least three times already, I think Pablo Vicente if fighting before the end of the year just like Iglesias, and hopefully Gomez fights on the undercard of DMJ. They're others, a bunch of them actually that are making a name for themselves all over the world.Comment

I think they have to get here first. All those kids in Germany are going to have a hard time getting recognition. Maybe the ones in Dubai are the lucky ones.Comment
