    That was exactly my point.

There's no big names outside 147 like Hatton, DLH, or even Marquez that Mayweather can fight for the big payday, except for Pacquiao (and if he fights him, it's likely that Pac has beaten a top WW).

Mayweather will have to fight a guy who's proven he can fight at a high level at WW in order to get the big paydays.

If he looks outside of Cotto/Pac/Mosley for big names...they are none.

    • I don't believe that. I think these are just negotiation tactics, but im not certain. It doesn't matter if they are tactics because Floyd wont be getting more money than Pacquiao. Perhaps 50/50 split.

if his next opponent is not the winner or Pac/Cotto or Mosley the
top guys in the sport then I am done cosigning homie. I will still
like him as a fighter because he is greatly skilled but if he won't
step in the ring with guys that can test him or we think can test
him, then basically he is wasting his talent and the fans/Consumers
and the sport of Boxing times. I would like very much to see him in
the ring with Shane and or Cotto even Pac although that's another
shut out fight like the one with JMM bUT still! Floyd, you have to
stop fronting and show us what it do! I know money is a big factor
in the game but you can definitely make more than enough fighting
any of them three at this point. Don't come back to the sport and
**** on the people. It's OK to have an ego and be ****y but don't
think your $H!t don't stink because it does. I'm going to wait after
Pac/Cotto to see what it do, BUT Floyd, don't let us down.
i hope pac will fyt mosley if he wins over miguel.
floyd will be left in the cold getting a taste of his own medicine!!
        you get my drift, brah....?

These are his money options no doubt, Haymon might want Floyd to not fight Mosley right now so Berto can get a money fight. It is clear as day those are 1,2,3 in terms of money options when you look for 4 or 5 there are limited options.

To me the only names that make a little sence would be Spinks or possibly Winky if Winky is still capable of getting to 154. Those are far lesser options though then the other guys but maybe Floyd thinks he is that kind of star now that he could do big business basically on his own. If Floyd is thinking that way waiting around does not make sence because if he times it right it would not even effect a fight with the winner of Pacman-Cotto (unless he injures himself).

Those three fighters (Manny, Cotto, and Mosley) are the biggest out there for Floyd, hopefully he gets on with the matters at hand sooner rather then later

I disagree, I do not see why Floyd has any reason to truly fear Mosley at this point. The only thing that Floyd may fear about that fight is that he would have to make it a stinker to make it so Mosley has no shot, and that could kill a lot of buzz around Floyd.

If Mosley can beat Berto I do not see how the fight would not take place down the road, there is already buzz for the fight and if people think Floyd is affraid of Mosley that will only build demand (you know how people love to run with the Floyd is affraid of this guy sort of thing). People will IMO give Mosley a way greater shot then he truly has in this fight if it is to take place because they will think Floyd is ducking him.

To me it all seems like part of a larger plan, plans in boxing do have a way of falling apart though.

                  • Wow, people seem to either be really ignorant, or just don't know that Floyd called out Mosley twice, and mosley didn't take the fight. Why in the hell would Floyd fight an older slower Mosley, when Floyd has done nothing but improve since. Im not in love with Floyd like some guys, but I don't hate him at all like most. His mouth isn't that big of an issue for me. People just don't get, that he uses his mouth to bring in the buyers.

No fight makes sense for Floyd, because most likely no one can beat him. Mosley is too old sorry, pacman is too small, and is reach is too short. Cotto just isn;t a good enough boxer. Who else is ther besides P-Will, who is fighting at middlewieght I might add.

What do you guys want, a guy who started out at 120 to move up to 160??? Quit talking all this **** about Floyd because you don't like his big mouth, give the dude some respect.

No point for Floyd in fighting at all because he beats everybody except pwill at 160.
