Another thing to consider about Floyd not wanting to fight Mosley right this second is that Berto is managed/advised by Haymon like Floyd. If Haymon thinks that Floyd can make good money for all invovled fighting any dude, why not leave Mosley for Berto who can not get a bigger payday elsewhere.

Whoever wins that fight is a viable opponent down the road still, even if Floyd fights someone different in his next fight it really does not change his biggest fight options that much, and if he beats someone impressively people will still buy in to him.

Im a bit confused about it. Im wondering if floyd actually himself said that the reason he doesnt want mosley is because of his past use of steroids or is this words being put in his mouth by others? He seems to be saying that mosley missed the boat after vargas and when mosley was chasing de la hoya so now mosley cant get a shot at floyd. This strikes me as a bit childish, the past is the past and both are ready now. Why not make lots of millions each now and since floyd even said in the ring after the jmm fight that he respects mosley a lot i dont see what the problem is??
