I actually agree with you here.

Offering Ruiz 30% was a lowball offer and a duck.

Just pay Andy fairly and then go knock him out as he should be favored to do.

So I could see how some Wilder fans could jump to that conclusion.

But more than anything what boxing needs is the top heavies to just fight each other.

The top heavies are STILL the same. Fury, Wilder & Usyk. Theirs a couple below them that if they fought any of the above 10 times they would win 2-3 times. They’re still sub prime boxers. Fan girls will argue but they don’t know boxing so who cares.

Well they tried saying king ortiz was a amazing win, even though Ortiz was 40 years old, with high BP and no great wins to mention? And then Fury said Wilder was no2 so Wilder must be must'nt he...........not. Fury probably put Francis no2 now.
So we need deontay back, but Maybe not for the reasons wilder thinks

but how or why is wilder still a top guy? he just lost 3 fights so im guessing you took joshua out for losing 3 fights why not wilder? joshua has a much better resume. guessing you took out ruiz for losing one fight but once again better resume and fewer losses. even zhang has 2 wins over joyce who imo is just as good or better than ortiz so why wouldnt he be a top guy? if doing well against fury in a losing effort makes you a top guy then why arent wallin and ngannau top guys? its been 4 years since wilder beat a top 10 guy...thats a long time. guys like joshua, zhang, joyce, hrgovic, sanchez etc...all have beaten top 10 guys more recently than wilder yet wilder. you see this is what happens when you dont have a good resume to fall back on. all the fantasy goes out the window and you are left with very little to actually go on, very little to say this guy is a top guy. it starts to look more and more like smoke and mirrors...which it was. instead of saying wilder is still a top guy since the evidence doesnt really back that up, we should be asking "was he ever?"
