Does heavyweight boxing need Deontay back?

Tyson Fury just sh@t the bed against an MMA guy. And Anthony Joshua can’t beat a cruiserweight and is constantly trying to “find himself.”

So I could see how some Wilder fans could jump to that conclusion.

But more than anything what boxing needs is the top heavies to just fight each other.

Need? No. His run is pretty much over at this point.

Joshua, Fury, and Wilder are all in the twilight of their careers.

    Heavyweight needs new blood.

Wouldn’t say it needs him, but wouldn’t hurt. His fights are usually entertaining.

HW boxing doesn't need anyone up to Tyson & Usyk.

It does make it more fun when you got guys like Deontay, Tyson, Usyk, Zhang, Joyce, Ngannou & so on tho.

If he fights Ruiz and Ngannou, two highlight-reel KOs

Wilder really should have done everything possible to make the Andy Ruiz fight. It’s a great style matchup for him and almost a certain KO win.

yes, HW needs all the big names to be fighting more often. Ruiz, Wilder, Joshua, Usyk, Furry, Zhang all need to get it on

he just beat bums for so long that people relented and starting calling him a top guy even though he clearly wasnt and his lack of competition should have been a red flag, same thing is now happening with tank davis. they even got him on the p4p list lol. do people consider ruiz a top guy? not really but his resume is much better and you cant even say well he lost so hes not a top guy...wilder lost 3 times to fury!

well he did offer ruiz 30 percent! oh wait ruiz was entitled to 40 percent under the wbc eliminator rules? duck! not a surprise though given his career and how he never took any risks or thought he was taking risks until fury cherry pick went wrong. it was possible that after those losses he would start taking risks since he had nothing to lose, but no same old MO
