Close fights usually go to the champion. Nothing new there. What gets me about this fight most is something that’s created so many threads and comments even years later but hardly a peep on here or anywhere else.
THAT FOOKEN ELBOW THROWN BY FURY WAS INTENTIONAL. He should be disqualified even now and loose the fight. I use to think Wilder was a cry baby but now……..

Ngannou beat up Tyson Fury, and busted him up real good.

But? Unfortunately, Tyson Fury was given the win.

Ngannou still has gained masses of respect, credit and a WBC ranking.

Ngannou in one fight has become a wanted man in the Heavyweight division 'He should strike now, while he is what is hot in the game'.

In boxing one of the worst things a fighter can do for themselves is 'Get too high on a win, and too low on a loss'.

Tyson Fury for example, for years in my opinion 'Got too high on his win's vs Kiltschko and Wilder. And overtime this has not aided his game, because Fury has barely fought at World level outside of those fights'.

Note: I honestly sense that Ngannou, does not want to play around in boxing 'I don't think he wants to play around with Joshua, Wilder or Zhang'.

Like I stated on another thread, you can't tap-out in this sport 'What Ngannou was doing to all those mixed martial arts fighters, maybe he suspects that could happen to him'.

Maybe Ngannou is content with just focusing on Tyson Fury 'Because stylistically, he is like well yes? I believe I can come through his power, and compete with him skill for skill'.

I wonder who is advising Ngannou, boxing is a game which is always moving 'The sport holds it's fighters to a incredibly high standard in terms of, on a fight by fight basis you can ether be the best thing since sliced bread or nothing much'.

Ngannou needs to decide on how he is going to operate in the game, and then attack etc.

This guy just wants to complain. He was crying that Danna White was underpaying him for years. Then he makes 10s of millions of dollars in boxing on his first fight.... the Saudis took millions of dollars in losses for him, massively overpaid him upfront compared to what few PPV he sold.... which they dont do for 99% of boxers who have been doing this their entire lives..... then he has the nerve to complain and cry that the boxing industry is screwing HIM over.

If you want things to be kept level then pay back the Saudis the millions of money you lost them by not selling chit for PPV.

Then go tell us since you got robbed, all 6-7 rounds you won convincingly against Fury because from his perspective he got a clear decision win here... which I didnt see.

In America at least hes more proven as a PPV draw than Fury is. Hes definitely one of the best dance partners Fury could get, especially relative to the risk (well...on paper anyway, didnt exactly work out that way)

"But for some guy that is out there building his record and working hard, to get out there and have those kind of outcomes that might have a huge impact in his career—is not fair at all. It doesn’t represent boxing very well"
I don't necessarily think Ngannou beat Fury (didn't score the fight) but I agree with what he says about the sport in general.

It was a close enough fight that the decision going either way isn't sketchy at all. But yea boxing as a sport is very sketchy all the same.

Francis knew he was so close. But he knew unless he knocked fury out he was unlikely to walk away with a win. The difference in this fight is francis never been 10 rounds so had to pace himself more couldnt let loose.

WTF? Bite the hand that just gave you the biggest payday of your life? What, ten or fifteen UFC fights to equal what you received for your dance with Fury? Ngannou should just keep his mouth shut and not risk losing easy money in the boxing ring. Really ****** on his part. Perhaps he jeopardized any future boxing matches. You have all the time in the world to complain about the state of boxing as a sport after you've cashed out on the money side. Anybody reasonable person who saw the match against Fury knows you were the winner. But you didn't lose your titles and taking the high road would have set you up for, at least, one more sideshow for mucho bucks. How does this help you going forward in any way? Soothe your ego?
