He seems much happier with his performance now than immediately after the fight when he himself said he fell short ...twice .Personally I liked his work and his simple but clever game plan ..but he can't carry on with this kind of ******ity , it was close whichever way you scored it. He needs to get straight back in there with a big name on the Fury v Usyk undercard , something he doesn't for some reason seem eggar to do.

Nice guy and he exceeded expectations, mostly due to Fury being lacklustre.

He's also right, boxing is shady, but the truth is he won about 2-3 rounds. The cards were right. Just because a fighter exceeded expectations of how the fight went doesn't mean they won it. It's scored round by round, and he didn't win enough.

Now he just sounds like other fighters crying robbery when it wasn't.

Let him get a rematch in future, Fury won't overlook him, and he knows what to expect now. Ngannou wouldn't win a round.

I'm never impressed by these Grand Conspiracy theories in boxing. For a start, who's "they"? Be specific with who you think has transgressed against you because there isn't some amorphous entity known as "Boxing".

The reality is far more prosaic. It was a scrappy, low accuracy fight with close rounds which two judges scored to Fury. As did I. There's no controversy other than Fury looking terrible, much less a Grand Conspiracy conducted by evil forces.

There is a "them". Boxing is still a racket owned by the Casinos (Who are owned by the Mob) and a certain religion who is over represented in wealth.

Francis lost the fight. He didn't do enough to nick it, even if it wasn't a (Lineal) title fight where you really have to "Take" the title away. We should be clear about that.

But....Ngannou is doing his job properly to set up the next phase of his journey.

Francis Ngannou shouldn't have any complaints. He was brought in to show some grit and be outclassed; and for this he was paid more than any MMA champion ever made in their entire career (Save for Connor McGregor, who also made the vast majority of his wealth from his one Pro Boxing match).
When he dropped an ill-prepared Fury and made it close, he was given a 2nd gift - A better career and the offer of more high profile, big money fights.

In reality, we all must know that Ngannou is not so much an MMA fighter who came in and did well in Boxing as he is a Boxer who tacked on a few extra skills and did well in MMA. REALLY well.

As a fan of All combat sports, I can't think of a better outcome. We get to see Ngannou do what he does without having to concern himself with leg strikes and grappling, against the fighters who do it the best, and I welcome yet another popular, potentially exciting big man to the ranks!!!

Boxing is a dirty business. Between promoters, sanctioning bodies, refs, judges and a whole other bunch of nonsense that goes on.
