GBP talks a good game but when push comes to shove, they seldom make big fights.

Tis a good fight. Zepeda has to step it up eventually and see how his style will fare.

Feather fist and telegraph his shots with his screaming...me personally I see his defense as lower b level

They will say that now but when Shakur answers the call they will say something else. Not too long ago Shakur was looking for a fight. Now he is fighting for a title and the guy he was suppose to face dropped out of the fight with no real explanation.

Shakur a better finisher than Floyd? Preposterous. At the same age Shakur is now, Floyd was 30-0 with 20 KOs vs Shakur's 20-0 with 10 KOs. For those that can't do math, that's a 67% KO rate vs 50% KO rate. And Floyd was facing WAY better competition. And when Floyd was 20-0 he had 15 KOs (75% KO rate). Are they sure it wasn't Gomez Addams instead of Eric Gomez that spoke that foolishness?

Perhaps what Zepeda "sees" is that Shakur is a higher ranked contender in his weight class and therefore it makes sense to challenge him (in the spirit of, y'know, competition--outdated concept, I know).

Camaron has an unbelievable engine and can wear down most guys with relentless pressure and volume punching, but I wonder if his style is just tailor-made to be a showcase fight for Shakur. Hope not. I love to see old school pressure fighters break down stylists, and seeing a reserved guy like Zepeda beat an obnoxious braggart like Shakur (or even make him cry again) would just be extra satisfying. As for those who would compare Shakur favorably to Floyd Mayweather at this stage of his career...based on what precisely??
Not sure who would make that comparison but lets see Shakur v Zepeda and then we can make a determination.

Shakur needs a Zepeda just like Floyd needed a Corrales to prove his critics wrong.

I don't think Shakur is feather fisted. He's been walking down opponents and getting rid of them lately. If anyone in and around that weight is feather fisted it's Haney.
