The subject is so simple. All sides agreed to fight. The Saudis pullled out.
All you need to ask is how much exactly Wilder wants in the fight to make
the fight in Vegas or Wembley. I don't know what is so complicated about it.

If it can't happen in the oil-rich country, then do it somewhere else.
Do it in some oil-rich African country.
There are no oil-rich African countries. Some African countries have massive amount of oil and gas but are extremely poor nevertheless. Put your hopes elsewhere.

This is still the fight that most fans want, no matter the belts or lack thereof.

They don't know what they want.
They do know what they want. Money.

They thought they were getting Saudi money, now they're not.

It's hard to get fighters to fight for a fraction of what they thought they were gonna get a few months ago, even if the lesser money is still good.

And they don't wanna pull the trigger to soon on a fight in UK or USA because they still hope a middle Eastern country comes up with the money. So they're pretty much in limbo.

The thing with Wilder is he isn't interested in boxing again unless its a big Saudi payday, so he can sit around and see if that offer comes in eventually.

It won`t happen, I heard Fury -Ngannou was a total money loser, who will invest the money for Wilder - Ngannou?

PBC lost a lot of money on Wilder - Helenius, they can`t afford losing money any more, which is the main reason why is Wilder not fighting.

All these guys like Ruiz, Wilder must accept pay cuts in their future fights. they are not stars like Joshua, who has a huge fan base in Uk.

I doubt Ngannou will get another huge pay day in boxing except if he fights Joshua. Otherwise, fight a fringe contender and earn your rankings.

Depends on who they fighting. Remember Pacquiao vs Floyd. Pac numbers were nothing compared to Floyd separately, but combine the two the numbers skyrocket. And it you couldn't expect Manny to take a payout based on his other PPVs when it was obvious they both equally contributed to the sales.

As far as Wilder vs Francis. I think it would sell a lot more. Nobody thought Francis would win, Fury not an exciting fighter.

But now the casual public knows about Francis and fr like he was robbed, and vs Wilder that's a 98% a violent fight.

Ruiz vs Wilder? The casual public won't care enough. Ruiz an afterthought and Wilder would be too if he wasn't still dangerous, just need a Joshua, Usky, Fury to match up with.

He’s not going anywhere outside his home state , he’ll sit on his couch and tweet messages on social media . There’s nothing easy about making fights with Wilder or Ruiz that’s why partially they are both inactive .
