Who is everyone kidding. Beni knows the fight with Canelo has ALREADY BEEN MADE. That’s why he’s no longer talking trash. He also doesn’t want to poke the bear too much.
It amazes me that so many believe Canelo is afraid of Beni.
Canelo already fought a man too big for him in Bivol. He couldn’t hurt him. Bivol is very hard to hit. Beni ISNT. Beni never been hit by a man like Canelo. I believe he will take a shot from Canelo but the accumulation of hits will affect him. Canelo has a world class chin. Beni’s chin has never been tested by a great fighter in his prime. Not that Canelo is in his prime but good enough.

Comparatively, Andrade is really exciting to watch in my opinion. Ive never been bored watching him fight.
Have you seen the Foster-Hernandez fight yet? Foster madde me a fan that night - he is the works - unbelievable concentration, defence and timing

benny boo boo is a very good fight i think

if benny comes through the canelo fight would be very big i would say

i actually wouldnt mind canelo choosing crawford before benny tho for some reason, i would expect canelo to win but bud has a lot of pride and i dont think would do a charlo in there

He was losing almost every round until Hernendez got careless.

I think Canelo fights Andrade - Benavidez next. So Benavidez better not lose to Andrade.

Prior to entering the picture, the top fighters remained in their separate corners and Benavidez was the main culprit by juggling his 1 belt around and never fighting his years backed up mandatory Callum Smith or Yildirim and rejecting a Plant unification.

From the start of 2020, Canelo had stated his intention to challenge for the 168 belts. Smith and Saunders were the obvious likely frontrunners because they were all under the Matchroom/DAZN umbrella. He had actually come to an agreement with Saunders for May 2020 but it ended up getting scrapped due to covid then Canelo got caught up in litigation with DAZN. And yet throughout 2020 until he was stripped in August, team Benavidez under his manager Sampson made it clear he'd refuse to unify on his PBC end of the street with Plant (even though it would put him in a frontrunner situation in the division)---and then proceeded to give up his only chip not bothering to make weight, then rejected another title shot at 175.

Canelo eventually settled his DAZN litigation in November 2020 and sent out offers to the only 3 champs at the time, and Smith ended up accepting. Meanwhile, Haymon wasn't even interested in sending fighters to DAZN and twice rejected big paydays for Plant, just to have him fight on basic cable for peanuts instead. Canelo had to become a free agent and go directly to PBC's doorstep in late 2021 to secure undisputed. Meanwhile, the only reason we're talking about the potential clash with Benavidez is Canelo going to PBC's doorstep again. And Canelo never ruled out fighting him, his main criticism was guys acting entitled to a payday while refusing to put in the same work on their end.

Not really accurate. Benavidez was calling out Plant and wanting to fa the other champions well before Canelo even came to 168. The problem is they didn’t want to face him. They knew the risk was too great. Canelo never had that problem because he can make almost any fight he wants so you can’t penalize Benavidez for being avoided and then praise Canelo for being entitled and privileged. Canelo never expressed any desire to face Benavidez….at all. Like i said his only time going after that wbc title was 2 days after Benavidez got stripped. That’s not a coincidence. Canelo saw a weak division with Benavidez out of the picture and took advantage. He’s still ducking Benavidez now despite Benavidez clearly being the best option available to him. Literally took less money to face a jmw.

Good for you David as you should! If you beat Andrade and then morrell along with plant and the rest of your resume, you’d definitely add to canelos legacy as that’s what he is looking for from now on, legacy enhancing fights. Team canelo and canelo himself and everyone who follows the sport know that his time is coming and only those legacy enhancing and bank growing fights are what will get you the ticket.

Realistically Al isn’t going to want Canelo to beat his 3 fighters and ride off into the sunset holding onto his 4 belts. Al will want those belts under the PBC banner.

I’d bet good money Benavidez was always and is still always going to be the last of those 3 fights. Al is going to put the fighter with the best chance of beating Canelo in that third spot after he’s taken a bit more out of him with the first two. Of course Canelo will have to agree on that third choice, but feeding Andrade, a fighter Canelo has been accused of ducking, to Benavidez now just makes it all the more difficult for Canelo to avoid him. That’s intentional.

I’m sure Benavidez and his team know this and are just playing along with the ‘will he won’t he’ crap purely to keep the press guessing and build interest. It’s all about money and belts so can’t realistically see if happening in any other way. The biggest banana skin is Andrade, but he’s been showing signs of decline - Liam Williams wobbled him a few times and Benavidez will get to him quicker, apply more pressure and hit way harder than Williams.

And the narrative about Benavidez ducking Morrell is entirely false. He first mentioned fighting Morrell literally days before Canelo’s 3 fight deal was announced and has been quiet on it since, clearly as he’s been waiting on the Canelo fight. That’s not ducking that’s business. Canelo fights are retirement money and it’s called prizefighting for a reason. Benavidez spent years being ducked by Plant, Saunders, Smith, Canelo and never lost his belt in the ring. Why on earth would he be remotely concerned about facing Morrell who’s he’s openly acknowledged as one of the best fighters in the division on more than one interview?

Canelo is ******. He should’ve fought Benavidez right at the beginning just like Mayweather did to him when he was green. He’s now aging out and Benavidez has just got better in the meantime.
Stop with the narrative that anyone tells Canelo who to fight, that is idiotic. As Espinoza himself said, Canelo is the boss and he chooses who he fights. This team nonsense that Haymon is serving up fighters is nonsense. Canelo is simply doing what he always does, which is cherry picking. He did not choose Benavidez first because he is never going to fight him.

Legacy? So why he didn't made the fight with bivol? He fought ryder instead of benavidez. What kind of legacy is that?
