Benividas vs Plant did LESS than 100K.
So that there gives you an idea of Benividas’s ability to draw.
    Benividas is half Mexican.
He has an American core boxing following. That’s it and it ain’t much.
Arguing our differences is a waste of time. Let’s just wait for the fight numbers and see who was right.

Benavidez is NOT a draw. We want this fight but this is NOT a big money fight. People think Canelo is ducking Benavidez lol. If Canelo knew Benavidez was going to bring him big money he would've fought him. People thought Canelo was going to duck GGG but when Canelo got the offer(a big offer) he immediately signed the contract. Even rematched him. I'm pretty sure Canelo knows PBC is trying to set up him vs Benavidez and he took the 3 fight deal. PBC is going to pay Canelo good but this fight might not do over 1 million.

It did 175k actually, and that is 175k more than Bivol has ever done without Canelo. He is not even a ppv fighter.

Idk about “well over a million” but it should do at least a million.

CANELO vs Crawford would definitely do 1mil tho.

Matchups matter alot. Look at Crawford/Spence numbers separately compared to their fight .

Canelo/Benavidez would get a lot of hype, and the Mexicans definitely coming out in full force. It's literally the two best Mexicans in the game fighting with two offensive styles. That's a Mexican boxing fan wet dream.

And the casual American will start to feel the hype with those highlights and reputation of being "Mexican Mike Tyson"

100% sure haymon's main selling point to amz and netf is canelo vs benavidez. sub-32-ish andrade cleans the floor with benavidez, not sure about this current version along with the cards. if it is a true 12 round it's going to look like lara vs angulo/hurd. those are 1 point fights or 115-113 UDs for Benavidez even if your eyes see a 7-5 fight for Andrade.

He actually avoided GGG for 2 years and waited until GGG was looking older and more beatable and even vacated the WBC title rather than fight. So let's tell the truth.

GGG, biggest hype was around 2015, before the Brook and Jacobs fights, that's when everyone wanted to see Canelo fight him. But Canelo vacated his WBC 160 belt to avoid it.

He only signed it when age was creeping in to GGG and he still had to rely on robbing him twice, and got busted for PED's between the first two fights

Canelo is a good fighter but let's cut the nonsense, it's not just about the money. Benavidez is the biggest fight for him him at the moment. Nobody is saying Benavidez is a huge name, but what is a bigger realistic fight at 168 now? None.
