Could be a number of reasons, could be that he didnt have a conceal carry license and that it was loaded or not compliant with the laws for transporting firearms in that state.

Also could be because he had the gun on him while committing a crime aka the DUI.

It doesnt say anything about him illegally owning it which is good.

Marvin Hagler lost to 2 fringe contenders before he ever won a world title, was he overrated? No, he had 2 losses and went on to great things.

Ali's corner had to cheat to get him through the Cooper fight because he got flattened, they cut his gloved to buy him time. Cooper was just pretty much a domestic level British champ

Pacquiao got knocked out twice before anyone outside of Asia knew of him, once by an 11-4 fighter.

Had this all happened today, imagine how much people on forums would say they're exposed hype jobs etc?

I'm not saying Anderson is near those guys, but you can't call fighters overrated because they have some tough nights on the way through. Its part of the game. Crawford is p4p number 1 today but he was getting hurt but a midget Gamboa in the past.
great post, this is why i rarely come around boxing sites like I used to

Jaron and Keyshawn Davis are in the same circle and they should surround themselves with better company like maybe Adrien Broner, at least he's never popped dirty!

Another genius. Get as ****ed up as you want , at home , or somewhere that you are not endangering other peoples lives. I hate drunk drivers , people on cell phones , high drivers , etc. They kill someone or make some innocent person live in pain for the rest of their lives , and then say " I'm so sorry" , your sorry doesn't fix a damned thing. Lock his dumb ass up, maybe he'll wise up and get his **** together. I love to ride motorcycles , so I have extra hatred for ignorant irresponsible people behind the wheel. I don't understand the gun charge though. I've never lived anywhere that you couldn't have a gun in your car. I don't leave home without one anymore. I'd rather not ,but if it's between me or you making it home alive , it's going to be me every freaking time.

I've never heard that you couldn't have it out in your vehicle , if you can have it in the vehicle, it can be anywhere as far as I know . I guess that it all depends on where you are.

The combination of drinking, driving, speeding, AND having a gun in the vehicle shows extremely poor decision making.

He is a young athlete who is making good money. Why put that at risk by being a moron?
