Wilder - Ruiz is logical fight that can be made tomorrow if both guys take pay cuts as they should.

Ruiz calling Joyce a robot is like the Michelin Man calling the Pillsbury Doughboy fat.

Andy is very defensive with an iron chin. quick hands and combos. meaning better than even odds that Andy can last the distance. It's hard for Zhang to win a decision when his volume fluctuates so much due to his limited gas tank. he's going to be breathing heavy in this fight. noticeably tiring.

judges will see that. and this fight will happen in America. not a friendly place to a Chinese

Maybe you're right if the fight goes the distance but it's not like Andy's a big star or anything. He's been inactive and has a serious height and reach disadvantage compared to Zhang. Andy's feet are incredibly slow because he's so fat. He may have fast hands but he has to get inside Zhang's jab and straight lefts and left crosses to land anything.
Joshua walked right into Andy's power shots thinking he was finished after knocking him down. I don't see Zhang making the same mistake but I'd love to see the fight. Andy definitely has a chance but I think Zhang has gotten better in his last few fights and has shown more composure and ability to set up his opponents and keep them at range using subtle footwork/repositioning and timing. He's a very good judge of distance and figures out his opponents tendencies fairly well.
If the fight happens next, which I doubt, I'm going for Zhang by a late stoppage or points win after dropping Andy multiple times. Old, shop worn Arreola dropped Andy multiple times and he was way past his best. Zhang has faster hands than Arreola and hasn't taken all the damage he has over the years.

lets all remember ruiz was entitled to 40 percent under the wbcs eliminator rules and wilder admitted he only offered ruiz 30 and that ruiz was being greedy lmao. when ruiz didnt accept wilder walked away and now the wbc has moved ruiz down the rankings for "inactivty" yet wilder still remains #1 although hes been inactive just as long as when ruiz was demoted. real scumbag stuff from the coward wilder and his enablers at the wbc

Why does Andy want an AJ trilogy as opposed to an Oilskin Parker duology ?

He obviously fancies himself to beat Joshua but not Parker.

Same reason AJ don't want a sniff of Oilskin's smoke. Cos Parker would smash him too.

I want the fights, and I'd love them to fight more often, but Fraudy is a ducker and Wilder is too. If Wilder wants back in the big time let him beat a top HW, something he has never done. Zhiang wants an opponent. Dubois, Anderson. Don't hold your breath though, the guy is a fraud.

At this point, Ruiz is good for Wilder and Wilder is good for Ruiz. They screwed themselves with inactivity, so they can't ask much now, especially Wilder. Ok, Ruiz can try Wallin, Gassiev or Pulev where the latter is the worst option, but could eventually agree easier than the others. In any way, Ruiz needs at least two fights in 2024.
