Bivol is backed by Eddie Hearn, whose Matchroom Boxing has a content output deal with DAZN, the streaming platform. Arum’s Top Rank has its own broadcasting deal with ESPN. I never said bivol should sign with top rank. I said the fight gets made tomorrow if he did sign with top rank. Because Bob already said to boxingscene.com in the article i posted, that it can only happen on espn. Well bivol signing is the way to make that happen.

Wouldn't Bivol-Beterviev be a draw in Russia? Hold it somewhere in big city like Moscow or St Pete. OK not as much dough for the fighters if it was held in the US or UK but still should make some money and don't the boxers care even a little about belts and legacy?

Broadcasters etc wouldn’t touch a fight staged in Russia at the mo with the war going on. So no international broadcast rights shrinks that fight a bit. Also I wonder what the Russian economy is like atm, surely it’s ass with all the sanctions, boycotts and funds going towards the war?
