If Fury drops masses of weight for the Usyk fight, that will back fire. Whatever Fury does or alters in training for the Usyk fight 'I don't think it will have a dramatic impact on his condition'.
So how much longer is the fight going to be postponed by 2 - 3 months, I just don't think that is enough of a time frame to make any dramatic effect 'Especially to a fighter like Fury who, I don't think has a aptitude for hardcore training. Fury may think he has good work ethic, but effort is personal'.
I once watched a interview, I believe it was before Wilder II 'Fury live on air, explained to a interviewer that he had made big sacrifices for his training camp. He has done things that he has never done before' I was sitting there thinking? I wonder what Tyson Fury could of sacrificed, must be something really dramatic if he is making such a extreme point of it 'Tyson Fury then went on to tell the media interviewer, that he had stop drinking diet cokes'.
I said to myself there and then, that Tyson Fury needs to fight his nearest competition as soon as possible. Because the longer he waits to fight Joshua, or whoever that may be the more the fight will move towards them 'Even if Fury should win, and he is the more naturally gifted fighter'.
Certain behaviors no matter how insignificant over time they have a accumulative effect 'And I believe Fury's fight vs Ngannou a combinations of Fury's behaviors as a fighter throughout the years unearthed itself'.
Can he be more focused for Uysk yes? But performance in boxing is more than just being focused.
Note: For years Fury has not fought at a high level skill for skill, and at some point that will unearth itself in the ring. We have seen fighters more talented than Fury, who I believe had very similar characters 'Fighters such as Prince Naseem Hamed. Prince Naseem Hamed, was a more talented fighter than Fury and Hamed fought at a good level throughout his entire career even as a Champion. But I believe just like Tyson Fury, overtime those insignificant behaviors that certain fighters overlook had a accumulative effect.
Difference between Fury and Naseem Hamed is 'Prince Naseem Hamed lost a 12 round decision vs Antonio Barrera who is a all-time great fighter, in a semi-competitive fight. It was not really a bad loss for Prince Naseem Hamed, nowhere near to the level that his critics make out.
All Athletes have something called a 'Peak Performance ceiling or level'. Even when great athletes fall of this peak ceiling, sometimes or most of the time they are still able to ether be the best in the World or compete with the best. You see this trend in all sports, most notably in recent times with Roger Federer, Novak Djokvic and Rafael Nadal.
Federer, Djokvic, Nadal for years were not at their peak but they were still the best tennis players in the world 'They were competing many years beyond their generation. Entire new generation of Tennis Players were coming and going, but those big three Tennis players still remained.
In boxing we have seen this with Floyd Mayweather Junior, Manny Pacquiao, Bernard Hopkins. For years they were nowhere near their peak, but even when they fell from their peak 'The level they were operating at was still able to compete at World level. They were still able to produce big wins, and performances'.
Fury's hardcore fans even now, believe that Fury is that type of fighter 'And he has that type of game'. Me personally I don't think he has that type of game, Fury is a great fighter but he is not at that level for me.
Note: Usyk is a not a super Heavyweight, but he is skill for skill a elite level fighter and the most accomplished active fighter in the entire sport of boxing 'The situation Fury is in now, is very similar to Prince Naseem Hamed's situation vs Antonio Barrera' etc.

Fury loves fighting orthodox boxers who are more predictable, Usyk is neither orthodox or predictable.
Hamed managed to confuse most boxers with his style, until he met someone who didn’t care much for his antics, made him look like a fool as well.
