I've been saying that for the longest. The guy loses rounds by getting outboxed by C level competition. It's not until his power sets in does the fight change course. However, an elite fighter with defense has the potential to make him look ******. I don't think he could win a single round against someone like Hopkins or Calzaghe.

If he has a great showing in the tournament I'll give him some more respect but until then I'm calling it like I see it.

        What level???

        Who has he fought?

JCC jr is unbeaten and a "top" contender. Sven Ottke was an unbeaten world champion who never officially lost in his backyard. What makes arthur so good? What has he done?

He's only fought 1 guy at smw who made his name at mw losing in a spectacular KO to the true mw champ. If you're trying to say arthur is the 3rd best smw in the world I'd say you sir are on crack.

He's a bum that will lose to the first prime elite opponent he fights. Face it the guy is a hypejob.
Really?? well he thrashed ma dawg Edison...he looked great in the rematch...umm I dunno I'd go as far as to call the man a bum though...is he overrated?? perhaps...I guess the super six will go along way to figuring out what's what.....but anyone who can fight with a broken jaw like that does not deserve to be called a bum IMO...

Perhaps your personal feelings about the man clouds your sentiments about the guy....kinda like me and Gayweather...If I would call him a bum...would you agree???

Make one thread of all the fighters you think are overrated and stop spamming NSB with dumb threads like these.

I haven't seen you making one positive thread. Not one of them.

AA is slow to start in his fights, yes. He still beat all opponents convincingly, despite trailing in the first rounds.

That neither Sturm nor Pavlik dared to face him shows what they think of him - or at least, what Sturms'/Pavlik's managers think of of AA.

He had problems to meet the 160 of MW (generally, he lives at 175+ lbs between fights), and does not want to waste his prime by waiting for Pavlik.

I think it's good that he moved up, and this tournament will prove for fanboys and haters, who is the king of the hill.
