      PBC needs to give whomever:

      Canelo vs Benavidez
      Spence vs Crawford 2
Tank vs Shakur (prove they can work with the opposite brand)
Wilder vs Joshua (in the United States)

      Let's keep boxing alive!

Best observation in this otherwise embarrassing thread. The idea Netflix are going to be the new HBO of boxing is self-delusion. These streaming companies are only interested in short term profit. A long term investment in boxing seems extremely unlikely.

I just dont see it. IMO boxing content wont work for amazon or netflix. Both platforms want content that can be streamed, and re-streamed for years. But 99% of boxing fights are watched once, and completely forgotten forever. Very seldom do you get the Gatti-Ward, Barrera-Morales, Hagler-Hearns type fights that live forever.

And I certainly dont blame Haymon for rattling his tin cup looking for a deal somewhere. I just dont see how it fits with the type of content that those platforms typically look for.

I guess we will see how good of a salesman Al is.......

It has to be Harvard connections. PBC is a pure loss leader with horrendous ratings and no stars. Everything points to his inventory being absorbed by Golden Boy and DAZN, not another network or streaming deal. Espinoza went to Harvard and has known Haymon since his music days, the same must go for Amazon or Netflix. The only way this works if Canelo plans on being a permanent fixture at the PBC.

I think a lot of people are taken in by this idea that Haymon is a mysterious genius with a masterplan for world domination which will eventually be revealed. It just hasn't happened yet...

You idiots are delusional as fuq but fuq it your granmommies basement is warm as shyte and you don't have to pay any bills

Seems like a weird combination but its pretty interesting, and obviously a good platform to be on, exposure wise.

The only difference is these companies , Netflix, Amazon , they got more money than God
All the promotions will be done on their sister networks saving them a bunch of money and promoting the chit out of the sport
I tell you I was one of those who thought that no sports should be on streaming sites because it took away from the sport with minimal promotion , also from from all the dinosaurs who couldn’t switch to streaming etc etc etc
Now I see the light , everybody has Netflix so it’ll be already in your house and the odd man who doesn’t will get it by mail or drone if you prefer , I think it’s called Prime Boxing lol
I know , I didn’t see it also but the light is getting much clearer
