It doesn't take a genius to try and find a home on two of the biggest streaming platforms.

Netflix has several sports documentaries, but what's probably stopped them from doing live-sports is the hefty cost of events. If PBC gets in bed with Netflix, maybe we'll see some more boxing documentaries in addition to the live sporting events.

How are they making money now is wtf I'm wondering. They do shows like every 2wks or so. They got Showtime Shawn, Paulie, Aligeri & Teddy Atlas on the mics at various times doing live events or random content shows. And they quit there $1.99/mo sub to go entirely free on YT. Idk how they were making money on $2/mo, but I really don't know how Showtime Shawn is getting paid anything with how this whole deal works with YT now.

Im pretty sure they are getting pay with Ads or money that Youtube Premium members pay. Plus they have sponsores. I don't think Pauli and Chris charge too much. Enough to make a living.

Do they do Premium stuff on YT? I've been watching all kinds of Probox sh^t via their regular ass YT, not on the Premium part.

I'm sure they are YT partners & get a few bucks per 1k views, but that can't be enough to pay everyone cuz their view numbers aren't great.

Who's a sponsor? I've not noticed them hyping much, if anything, on their shows that ir.

Ik Garry Jonas, the guy behind Probox, has some weird relationship with that White Sands rehab place, or w/e it is, they do their fights in so I'm sure their cards probably don't have a lot of expenses besides paying the boxers & paying for the refs, judges, etc so that probably keeps the costs down.

the sentiment in the last couple years seems to be that cable is actually better than these streaming services, we tried it and it didn't work.

When netflix first was out, it was crazy between the streaming app and the DVD catalog they basically had every movie and show you could ever want for like 10 dollars a month. then when everyone made their own app it went to ****.


dazn was over paying fighters and I was warning anyone and everyone that it wasnt sustainable but people didnt want to hear that in 2019

Two very important points Netflix is known to cut shows very quickly if they don't work out. So if PBC does not deliver Netflix will quickly end it. And the big problem with boxing is the ratings aren't delivering. When the best don't fight the best boxing will have the same ratings problem and nothing will change
