Would be good only if the TV companies insist on the top boxers fighting each other instead of allowing the promoters to cherry pick. Or we get more years of Tank vs everyone except the guys he should fight.

It doesn't take a genius to try and find a home on two of the biggest streaming platforms.
Netflix has several sports documentaries, but what's probably stopped them from doing live-sports is the hefty cost of events. If PBC gets in bed with Netflix, maybe we'll see some more boxing documentaries in addition to the live sporting events.Comment

Jake Paul + PBC on Netflix and KSI/Misfits + GBP/Matchroom on DAZN. This doesn't feel like an accident. I think the intent from a network/platform perspective is to use the Youtubers to subsidize the "real" boxing.
Are you sh^tting me???? Netflix spends BILLIONS on content each year. And I believe they are the only streaming platform working on a profit. They pay more for content then any platform last I heard. Their budget is at least 2x-3x of Paramount's budget & Paramount bought Showtime. Netflix could go half ass on boxing & give out a better budget then Showtime had.Last edited by kiaba360; 11-03-2023, 10:11 PM.Comment
