More Skilled Usyk VS Bivol

Usyk was the smaller guy AND he did all the fights on the road in enemy territory. Easy to create a narrative putting him down, but no other boxer is as accomplished a road warrior, and he's accomplished what he has at heavy in a division in which people can outweigh him by 45 lbs or more. That's more than 10 divisions of weight difference starting from the bottom, and still at least 5 starting from cruiser. So he had to win on points against much bigger opponents in their hometowns. You don't think that takes a ton of skill to pull that off every time and never get robbed?Comment

Usyk hasn't had that opportunity. I wouldn't bet against him beating a smaller, skilled fighter like Bivol beat CaneloComment

Usyk skill or skill is a more proven fighter.
Until Bivol beats a world level boxer, who out weighs him by 1.5 to 2 stone 'Then Bivol skill for skill, is not as proven as Usyk' etc.

Bivol beat Ramirez, who is also huge and Ramirez is probably more skilled than Dubois and Joshua.

Excellent breakdown thanks for sharing bro
Head movement would potentially create issues with his movement. He's always in balance. But there's still times and places that it would help him, especially when he's pressuring. He could also negate the need for it more by seeking positional advantage. If the opponent can't punch you because you got to their T, there's not much need for head movement. He doesn't use shifts very often, for instance.Comment

Usyk is giving up a weight advantage when fighting bigger heavyweights, pulling it off most of the time but he got a gift from the ref last fight.
Bivol is fighting guys his size but i think he is more skilled or more consistent.
their size difference isnt that far off, usyk used to fight at light heavy amateurs and fought beterbiev twice. I think same size head to head I would favor bivol the highly skilled more conventional guy, I think he catches the unconventional guy off balance, out of position ect, it usually works out that way when those types match up. Bivol has the speed and timing to outbox him if they were same size, both have crazy endurance.
