Comments Thread For: Francis Ngannou says Fury Rematch is Priority, Plans to Fight Twice Next Year

Francis Ngannou wants one of his desired two fights next year to be a rematch with Tyson Fury. The former UFC champion from Cameroon has been soaking in the adulation after his better-than-anticipated performance against WBC titlist Fury in what was Ngannou's boxing debut last Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Dont get me wrong, that fight looked very real, but its pretty ****ing convenient how its given Fury an excuse to drag the Usyk **** out even more isnt it.

I've heard on a pod this morning from the mma world that Ngannou is possibly taking the December 23rd spot for his next fight. Wilder?

December 23rd was never a realistic date. Outside of the fact that it only gives Fury like 6 weeks to train, there is no time to promote the fight. So I am not sure why that date was being thrown around, it never made any sense.

I can see Ngannou figuring in some really high profile Boxing matches in the next couple of years. It's going to be interesting to see what he can do against other boxers than Fury. I don't think that Fury is ever going to want to fight him again. The problem for boxers against Ngannou is that unless you blow him out it's lose / lose except for in the bank account.

Yeah, I saw an article saying the Saudis are going ahead with Dec 23, now to headline with Ngannou v TBD, options including Zhang and Parker, apparently. Not sure why no mention of AJ v Wilder...

Doubt it he's just said he will fight twice next so he will fit right in with all the other tosers

So I seriously doubt he fighting twice in a couple of months

He's just been in a camp, usyk fury ain't a huge seller usyk actually is a very very low seller by all accounts, hence they love Saudi because they don't need to promote anything, guarantee money

I'd love to see AJ versus Ngannou. Or AJ against Wilder. But highly doubtful AJ will fight anyone that can punch or has skill. What a shill Hearn is.
