That is more than likely why Benavidez agreed to fight him. Since he was not getting Canelo he went with Andrade and was gunning for Munguia too. David wants to get paid at this point of his career.

The narrative quickly changes with these people. Benavidez's team called their bluff a year ago, then Morrell came out and said his trainer Ronnie Shields didn't want to rush him. That he needs some more practice fights. Morrell not only took one practice fight, but two. Which was hilarious. He's the beggar, yet he wants the fight in his own time. I'd ignore these clowns if I were Benavidez.

Where is Shields, btw? Isn't he the one picking and choosing for his fights? Talk to him people. He knows which one to pick for you.

let me help you a bit, Morell jr wanted to fight benavidez, he changed trainers and Shields wanted to see and learn about his fighter, move forward two fights, and he gave the okay. So what is the problem? His trainer didn't want to take a fight like that with only one fight. There were no brakes applied before, it was Shields that had only one fight with the kid. Stop with the BS.
