I have some news, the size actually matters in boxing. This is why Richards did it better against Bivol than Canelo did.

To compete in one division you must actually be big enough. Crawford is clearly not 168 guy, lol.
Man I really hope they fight so you can see how wrong you are.

Canelo is 5'8, 70 inch reach. Bud is 5'8, 74 inch reach.

Canelo has looked liked **** for a few years. He still has power. He has no gas tank, and he has never ko'd any elite fighter. He got his ass whipped by Bivol because he isn't that skilled. He is a good fighter, massively overated. He walks around at around 190 pounds. Bud is walking around 180-185, he was walking around at 177 five years ago.

There are weight classes for a reason. A flyweight cant box a welter. A welter cant fight a HW. But Bud kills himself to get to 147, while Canelo is not having issues because 168 is the right class for him.

Jermell looked awful because he is not incredibly skilled and he relies on being big to win at 154. He was damaged and off for almost two frickin years. And he saw tens of millions and stopped to by to grab that check and take zero risks in that sham.

You sound so condescending, and honestly you sound kind of dumb, because Canelo and Bud are naturally close to the same size. Bud is far more skilled and strong as hell. Of course Canelo could land a big shot and win, but it isn't like Crawford is fighting Fury or some 6'5 heavyweight or something. You must have no clue as to the history of the sport, many smaller guys fought and beat bigger men back in the day.

You are just talking to make yourself feel superior. "Morons" don't look at facts and they talk silliness. Stop.

        T-Bud isn’t a small man at all

Seems there are fighters who can drain more weight than others

5 ft 8 72” reach Floyd outboxed Alvarez

        I think 5 ft 9 74” T-Bud could 8-4 or 7-5 over Alvarez

So, it’s safe to say Jermell messed it up for guys who want to hop weight classes to face Canelo. He basically said “F y’all, I got my money anyway” after cruising and surviving his way to a payday.

And this is somebody who was one weight class below Canelo. His twin brother is a middleweight, so, in my opinion he was only 8 pounds lighter than Alvarez from a weight class standpoint.

So you say Crawford is not small.

Well, why was his last fight at 147 than?

It's odd because the WBA were calling for consolidation before Spence fought Ugas. Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling for Crawford to be stripped or anything, I'm just interested in what might happen.

But for some reason some morons believe that top welterweight Crawford can compete with top super middleweight Canelo.

                      Are you guys crazy?
While I agree with your take on Crawford/Canelo, I have to respectfully disagree about Bivol and Canelo. Bivol won that fight because he is just better. Bivol isn't some huge 175 pounder. Bivol even wanted to run it back at 168, but Canelo didn't want that work.
