Only the HWs have a chance, the lighter divisions will get killed by elite boxers.

I don't blame O'Malley for fancying his chances in boxing after the disgraceful performance by Fury
        against Francis.

I did martial arts as a kid but boxing was my love and I fought both amateur and professional as a boxer and it wouldn't be close in 99.5% of the fights if they were putting MMA vs boxing using boxing rules, and the same goes for a boxer trying to do MMA. These are two different things and worlds for a reason.

At least MMA guys do train in boxing to a certain degree. They're unlikely to succeed against the elite but at least you can come up with a storyline.
There's a reason why top boxers don't cross over the other way and it's got nothing to do with money. They'd get stomped (despite some folks still clinging to that one Ray Mercer fight lol) completely. MMA guys may only have minimal boxing training but boxers have absolutely zero training in most facets of MMA.

Couture took down Toney with a move that isn't even very successful in MMA. He just knew it would work because his opponent was clueless. I'll take the trash talk more seriously if boxers start growing a pair. (They won't)

Stevenson says in one breath that mma fighters should stay in their lane and in the next breath, he says he'd love to fight one who dares to cross over. If this sort of thing catches on, it will be the end of boxing as we know it.

That is a pretty vague statement. Are you talking about champions in each sport? Journeyman for each sport. Plenty of mma fighters can beat boxers. You act like they dont box in the gym at all. Some have plenty of amateur boxing experience also. Its a pretty ridiculous thing to say that only 1 put of every 200 mma fighters can win a fight vs a boxer.
