Didn't you read what Arum stated? The Saudi prince deals with fighters individually to the point where fighters won't give a F what the other guy is getting. This A-side, B-side thing is non-existent in the oil-rich country.

I think a fight with Parker would make a nice logical matchup. Both were on the same card and had exposure to the market (if the fight happens in middle east). Parker is a former belt holder and represents a certain level in the rankings that is realistically winnable.

That being said, i wouldn't mind a Wilder/Ngannou matchup. I think that offers enough spectacle and buzz for many markets.

Ngannou's bubble would burst incredibly fast if a British titlist with no amateur pedigree can beat him. People are talking about AJ/Wilder, but could Ngannou get past Wardley? I know the payday wouldn't be the same, so the discussion is a non-starter.

I like that matchup too. Wardley has looked very vulnerable at times (my mind goes back to the Molina fight) but he's stopped some established veterans (Webb , Molina, Martz) and younger fighters with decent pedigree (Gorman and Adelaye). He has athleticism and power.

That’s sweet music to my ears. He’s just been getting bum deals from Dana, so it would be a shame for him to go over to the boxing equivalent.
