This is a result of all the fakes that are allowed to prosper and climb to the top of boxing. Ngannou comes from an organisation where you have to be a real fighter, be in shape, and beat your contemporaries, in their prime. Not weight draining, ducking and dodging everyone and the idiot fans slurping it up.Last edited by SplitSecond; 10-28-2023, 08:31 PM.Comment

I just read through all the comments on this thread..., and as usual everyone is talking out their ass, either going in one extreme direction or the other. It's like you guys can't even moderate your own limited thinking. Some of you acting like Fury didn't train at all and didn't take the fight with any seriousness. Others here acting like Fury was always a bum. Some others lifting Fury up to make Wilder look like a god...even though Fury destroyed him twice. Some of you acting like Ngannou is either the latest greatest heavyweight boxer or a complete MMA joke. I feel like I'm reading posts from a forum filled with mentally challenged toddlers. Every fight is different...Every fight has it's unique, individual nuance...In every single fight a fighter is different, no matter what they "appear" to look like (even when they look physically the same). It's always laughable when someone claims that any fighter is "unbeatable" or "the best ever". How many times can we watch boxing and see an endless array of upsets or "near upsets" and we still have this overreaction to seeing yet another one. It happens all the time! Boxing is not mathematics, where you can reliably count on 2 + 2 equaling 4 every time. Let's try to be rational and temper our thoughts with a bit of contemplation once in awhile.
On any given night everyone can be beat or look bad. This isn't the first time Fury has looked less than stellar. He's had poor performances against a handful of different opponents, just like all fighters do. He's fallible and he has his weaknesses. That also doesn't mean that he's a bad fighter. All of us are agenda-driven on this sight, so we'll either overrate him or underrate him, depending on what suits our personal agenda accordingly. We all do the same thing with every other fighter. I guess it's the hyper-emotional, knee-jerk reactions that are the most entertaining to read. If we were all clinically rational and logical, we'd probably not even post our thoughts regarding these fighters and their fights. I both "dislike" and "like" the knee-jerk ******ity in these comments at the very same time but it would be interesting to see rationality in this forum too.Last edited by Damn Wicked; 10-28-2023, 11:19 PM.Comment

Zhang? Dude, Francis is a 37 year old that had just made his boxing debut. Tyson Fury should have been the one to knock him out in 5 rounds. This looks bad. For Fury, for Wilder, for boxing...Comment

Wilder has always been a can with no boxing skill but a big punch, I suspect several of his fights to be dives.Comment
