That’s a dark, dark day for boxing.

Silva was 46 though. Don't forget that part. That's what makes it much worse than this.
Chavez Jr was a washed former champion who was essentially given a belt because of his second name.
Fury is one of the faces of boxing, this is way worse I think, far more publicised too.
I’m literally dreading seeing MMA guys in the gym, how can you defend this sh**?
But it was basically the same story both times. The boxer didn't show up in shape or take it seriously and the MMA guy did.Comment

watch Fury train extra hard for his next fight to make up for this
The thing with Fury is we know he fights much worse when he is complacent. He can say what he wants but there's no doubt he overlooked him.
the worst thing Fury can do is take fights like this or against much lesser opponents. Its hard to switch your mentality mid-fight when you have such complacency going into it
Guarantee you would see a very different version against Usyk.Comment

It’s a shocking loss for Chavez Jr, but it’s kind of like Ray Mercer icing Tim Sylva, it was fight out in Mexico with little publicity.
This is gonna be front page news and boxing’s reputation takes a massive hit as a result.
Fury’s likely been boxing for 25 years and he’s just gone life a death with a guy who’d never boxed amateur or pro I believe.Comment

Haha. Well I'm glad I could provide some entertainment for you.
And whoever scored Canelo vs. Floyd 114-114 needs to be committed to a psych ward. Canelo did not win one second of one round in that fight!Comment

they tried the make it closer than it was to sell a rematch trick
Except Floyd was too damn good that night.
I remember Floyd's confused look
Richard assured him with a whisper in the ear and calmed him downComment
